Information processed by the tools
Time zones, cities, dates, meeting duration, and working-hour choices are processed in your browser to calculate results. The public website does not currently require an account or store a personal scheduling history.
Our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
Browser extension data
The useChrono browser extension processes typed time expressions and selected time text on your device. It stores your preferred team time zones and up to five recent conversions as normalized date, time, and IANA timezone values in Chrome local storage so the popup can restore those choices. This extension data is stored locally and is not transmitted to useChrono or third parties.
Selected time text waiting to be converted is kept only in Chrome session storage and is removed after the popup reads it. The original selected text is not added to long-term history. You can remove saved conversions at any time with Clear history in the extension, remove individual preferred time zones with Edit zones, clear the extension storage in Chrome, or uninstall the extension.
The extension does not load Google Analytics, advertising code, remote JavaScript, website content, or personalized advertising. Links you choose to open on useChrono.com are then governed by the website analytics and cookie choices described below.
Analytics and advertising
Google tags can load with analytics and advertising storage denied so Google can verify the site and apply Consent Mode. Analytics storage is granted only after you allow analytics cookies. We use aggregate events to understand which pages and tools are useful, diagnose errors, and monitor performance.
Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other device identifiers when ads are enabled and you allow advertising cookies. Third parties may use this information to serve, measure, limit, or personalize advertising according to your consent and regional requirements.
Your choices and retention
Your cookie preference is stored in local browser storage. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer, change your choice, clear browser storage, or block cookies through your browser.
We do not sell personal information. We retain support messages and technical records only as long as needed to answer requests, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and improve the service.
