About

What useChrono does today.

useChrono is a static timezone utility site. It converts times, compares city clocks, and shows overlap windows for two-location meetings. The site does not store calendars, accounts, or attendee data.

Current tools

  • Time zone converter with date rollover shown in the result.
  • Meeting planner that compares two locations, meeting length, and working-hour ranges.
  • World clock with 86 city cards, UTC offsets, and working-hour status.

What it does not do

  • No accounts, calendars, or team scheduling history are stored.
  • No automatic Google Calendar sync or attendee availability lookup is available yet.
  • Verify legal, travel, payroll, trading, or medical deadlines in your calendar or source system.

How the time data works

  • Conversions use IANA timezone identifiers through the platform Intl API.
  • Daylight-saving rules are applied from the runtime timezone database.
  • Government timezone rules can change, so critical dates need a second check.
For meeting planning, useChrono only checks time-zone math and selected working-hour ranges. It does not know attendee availability, holidays, company policies, or travel constraints.
